On the 14th October 2020, Nuray Kizildag from Sabanci University will present the ISOPREP project as part of the Plastics Circularity Multiplier initiative online conference.
The event is organized by a network of “twenty one innovation projects” funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 program, which joined forces in 2019. Representatives from industry, academia and policy makers will present a variety of EU funded innovations that work towards plastic materials incorporation into the circular economy. The conference will boost cross-collaboration between EU Projects and will expand European Union efforts towards a circular economy for plastics.
The conference program is stretched over 3 days and divided into three different sessions talks. The first day, where the ISOPREP project features, includes “the presentation of the Plastics Circularity Multiplier initiative, the presentation of R&D investments and Chemical Recycling (projects PUReSmart, ISOPREP, DEMETO, polynSPIRE, iCAREPLAST NONTOX, Circular Flooring).”
Talks on the second day will highlight “clustering activities in EU Projects, followed by projects on Product design for recycling (projects: Repair3D/SmartFAN, TERMINUS, DECOAT, CIRC-PACK) and Recycled plastic content in products (projects: REMADYL, REACT).”
The third day will start with a presentation on “Connecting the bins: why Plastics Circularity requires us to get off our respective islands,” followed by “projects relating to the Collection and sorting of plastic waste (PlastiCircle, CREAToR, Life-Repolyuse)” and “the Monitoring of recycled plastics (PolyCE, MultiCycle).”
