Dr. Nuray Kizildag (Researcher) at Sabancı University IMC - Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research and Application Center (SU-IMC) - has presented the ISOPREP project titled "Solvent-based recycling of polypropylene from waste carpets: an investigation on the leaching behaviour of carpet components” at the AUTEX 2022 (Association of Universities for Textiles), the 21st World Textile Conference, in Lodz, Poland.
ISOPREP partner CeNTI - Centre for Nanotechnology and Smart Materials - has demonstrated the yarn made from virgin like recycled polypropylene using the ISOPREP technology in the Techtextil 2022 (International trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens) in Frankfurt, Germany.
The ISOPREP team has also participated in the third European edition of the popular Chemical Recycling event in Cologne, Germany. We have had great communications with relevant industries and exchanged ideas in the plastic recycling sector.
The next event you can meet the ISOPREP team is the 10th annual edition of Sustainable Places (SP2022), from 6th to 9th September, in Nice, France. The ISOPREP team will present our latest polypropylene recycling technology in the conference.
